Our first post...

So as you all know, we welcomed our beautiful baby boy Nathan Ryan Trietsch on September 27, 2008. He was 20.5 inches, and 8 lbs 2 oz. He has been an amazing addition to our family. Our dogs Chevy and Scout have really taken to him. He has hit a few milestones, he was standing and trying to balance at about 5 wks, at 7 wks he started sleeping through the night, he rolled over for the first time at 10 wks (Dec. 11 to be exact), and we started feeding him rice cereal at about 3 months. At his last Dr appt (Dec. 19) Nathan weighed 13 lbs 15.8 oz and he was 25". He is in the 90th percentile for both weight and length and he is in the 98th percentile for head size! That day was the first round of vaccinations for the little guy. It was hard to watch but we think he did really well. He didn't get a fever or anything. We did give him a little tylenol for his sore thighs though. He is really smiling a lot now. He loves to follow our movements with his eyes as we walk around. He tries to pull himself up to a sitting postion, but he has not been very successful yet. Its so wonderful to watch how he changes every day. We look forward to posting more and updating pics!
