- It has been a while since I posted! Maybe I should have made my New Year's Resolution to update our blog regularly?! With kids things change daily...it's just hard to find the time to blog! If it makes you feel better, I am also behind in scrapbooking! I like to give the boys as much attention as I possibly can during the day. The only real time for myself is nap time and I am usually taking care of something in the house then!
- Nathan is in his "terrible two's" phase. He seems to think the only way to communicate is by yelling. Boy oh boy is it difficult to keep calm and try to decipher his yelling to determine what he is trying to tell us! He is still a sweet loving little boy, we do get to see that side of him about half the time. He is so big! He wears mostly 3T clothes, some 4T and he weighs about 33 lbs. His hair is finally starting to come in thicker. I expected it to get darker as more of it came in, but it's still light blond! He loves tools and trucks. His favorite shows are Sesame Street and Dinosaur Train. He seems to be enjoying Collin being around even more than he used to. He likes to try to help Collin stand up when he falls and he likes to help feed him.
- Speaking of Collin... we thought Nathan was big- Collin weighs about 23 lbs. That's how much Nate weighed when he was one! Collin is now 8 mths old. He still only has his bottom two teeth. We think a top tooth may come through anytime. His hair seems to be coming in lighter and he has a lot of it! His eyes are hazel and they seem to be more green than brown lately. Collin is pulling up to stand on furniture and is clumsily starting to cruise along it. He hasn't started crawling but he does scoot his butt across the floor or scoot himself backwards while on his belly. He hasn't quite mastered the pulling himself up to sitting stage yet either and we think it's because of his pot belly :). He can get himself there, but he will give up easily if he doesn't get up after a few tries :). The poor little guy is getting over double ear infections. Thank God for antibiotics... he had a few rough nights that kept us up! He is still getting breathing treatments twice a day with an inhaled steroid to help keep his lungs open and strong. We are also still treating his reflux. We are SLOWLY trying to wean him off of his Zantac, but he gets so uncomfortable without it.
- We had a great Thanksgiving and Christmas! We had a wonderful time eating and hanging out with our families. I'm thankful for how close our boys are with their grandparents and cousins. Now if we could only get Holly, Randy, and Chase to move back to the midwest ;).
- I am so thankful for the start of a New Year. 2010 was filled with many joyful moments (3 babies born), but it was also a hard year for many of our friends and family. I look forward to a fresh start! Thank you everyone for taking the time to keep up on our life. Happy New Year to all of you! ... (pics to come)
