Almost Christmas!

2009 is almost done! It's hard to believe! We are doing well. I had an OB appt last week. I am currently 16 wks pregnant. At my appt I was measuring two weeks ahead and everything looked normal. We have an ultrasound Jan 15 and if we want to, we can find out what we are having then! We aren't sure if we want to know or not this time. We loved the surprise with Nathan but now that we have everything neutral, we may want to know if we need to start buying pink or blue clothes! Okay...maybe it's just me who wants to know what we are having... lol. Ryan wants the surprise, so we will see. Nathan is really understanding us more and more. We can speak to him in full sentences and he will respond appropriately. Especially when we ask him to do something. His favorite new word is "bath." He asks for one every night. It's so cute. Nathan went to the Dr yesterday, he has yet another ear infection. If it is still there at his 15 month appt in January our Dr is going to do a tempanic membrane test to determine if he needs to get tubes in his ears or not. At this point, I would be fine with him getting tubes. Every time he is at the Dr, whether it's for a routine check up or because he isn't feeling well, he has "the start" of an ear infection. He hasn't had a full blown infection but there has been water trapped in his ear indicating an infection is going to happen. I just want him to be comfortable! Here are some pics from over the past month.
Attempts at a Christmas card pic...

These are from the Trietsch family Christmas that we celebrated at Thanksgiving. Holly and Randy couldn't fly from CA in December because Holly would have been too far along in her pregnancy...

Left: Jason, Heather and their son Taylor (recently pregnant! due Aug 16)

THAT'S RIGHT! 3 more grandchildren by next Christmas!
Nathan loves the singing Rudolph. He is giving it a hug!
Gotta post this pic of Dave in his super cool new pajama pants. Randy, Jason and Ryan were all jealous they didn't get a pair!
