We took Nathan for his 15 month check up on Tuesday. He weighed 25 lbs 7 oz (60th percentile) in his diaper only. He is 33 inches (90th percentile) long. It astonishes me to think he is almost 3 feet long at 15 months! He also got his MMR and Chicken Pox vaccines. Dr Lisa said he looks great and was impressed with his vocabulary. Evidently they expect children at his age to have 3-6 words in their vocabulary, well he knows 27 or so! He says words like banana, tomatoe, bite, bath, duck, potty, diaper. Granted they sound like balala, toto, bite, bathhhh, dut, poddy, and diabey but he gets the point across. We also got a referral to an ENT to get tubes in his ears :(. We are a little nervous about that but we know it is for the better. He hasn't slept well in a few months. He has only had one or two real ear infections but everytime he is in to the dr, he has water trapped in his ears. Poor little man!
I am now 19 wks pregnant and looking and feeling the part. I am feeling slight movements now, no big kicks yet or anything that Ryan can feel. I have my 20 week ultrasound next Friday. We have decided we for sure do NOT want to know what we are having! I remembered how great it was not knowing with Nathan and decided I want the surprise again! There really isn't any benefit of knowing, we have everything neutral from our pregnancy with Nathan so we are set. We have decided on names also. I think we are ready, lol ;). I will post more next week after our appt!
